Update for The Light Brigade Introduces a Stealthy Gunslinger to the VR Roguelike Adventure

The Light Brigade, a VR roguelike shooter, has just released its exciting ‘Phantom of Time’ update, bringing a wealth of new content to players for free.

Available now on all platforms, this 4.0 Update introduces a fresh playable class called the “Saboteur.” Funktronic Labs, the developer behind the game, describes the Saboteur as a skilled gunslinger wielding an SW500 revolver. This class also comes with a unique timepiece that enables stealthy maneuvers by cloaking and deploying a deadringer, making it perfect for sneaky escapes. In addition to the Saboteur, the update unveils a brand new procedurally generated world named “Memorial Grounds.” This setting takes players through a military crypt ravaged by war. Described by Funktronic Labs as a burial site for esteemed soldiers now lying in ruins, the Memorial Grounds poignantly captures the destruction that has overshadowed the dignity of fallen heroes.

Since its initial release in February 2023, The Light Brigade has consistently enriched its content library with significant updates. The ‘Shadow Hunter’ update in April introduced a brand new class, and the ‘Memories of War’ expansion added two classes and a host of new handcrafted levels. While Funktronic Labs has kept tight-lipped about future specifics, they have hinted at more substantial content updates on the horizon.

The Light Brigade’s Phantom of Time update is now available for Meta Quest, PSVR 2, and PC VR, promising an enhanced and more immersive experience for gamers.
