Scattered across the underground, you’ll find the remains of this conflict—cicada husks and abandoned Caveling camps—hinting at a near-total annihilation of both factions.
At the heart of this epic saga stands Nimruza, once a majestic cicada queen who presided over vast desert stretches. Her tale takes a dark turn when a parasitic invader takes control, feeding on her from within. Driven by a sinister force, she has become a formidable foe in this latest Core Keeper update, adding layers to both the game’s narrative and the history of the Cicada-Caveling War.

While navigating the Oasis, keep an eye out for the Drohmble, a cute camel-like creature that roams the fertile plains. Raising these critters can yield a valuable (albeit smelly) resource, perfect for crafting new tools and weapons.
