The "Return to Sanctuary" event in Diablo 4 is bringing a variety of exciting in-game activities starting on Tuesday, November 19. Each of these events will roll out over specific durations, offering players a range of experiences to anticipate.
In this overview, we’ll delve into the key events that are set to unfold in Diablo 4 throughout the remainder of 2024. From a test phase for the Spiritborn class to facing the Red-Cloaked Horror, and the revival of the Mother’s Blessing XP buff, there’s plenty to look forward to.
Kicking off on November 19, Diablo 4 introduces its first-ever character boost feature, though it’s exclusively available for characters in the Eternal Realm, which are non-Seasonal. Every player who owns Diablo 4 has the opportunity to uplift one of their characters to level 50. Alongside this boost, players can choose from three unique sets of Legendary Items, instantly unlock all Altars of Lilith, and gather an assortment of resources such as Gold and Obols. If you have the Vessel of Hatred expansion, you’re in luck—you can boost an additional character in the same fashion.
Interestingly, Blizzard has labeled the Welcome Back Booster as a “limited-time” offer, yet they haven’t specified when it will end in their blog.
Return of the Red-Cloaked Horror
Starting Tuesday, November 19, until Tuesday, December 3, the formidable Red-Cloaked Horror monster will have a chance to appear in place of a Hellborne during Helltide events. You’ll also find it occasionally showing up in dungeons and the Infernal Hordes mode. Taking down this foe can earn you some valuable loot, including the exclusive Gideon’s Brew. This potent Elixir enhances the damage you deal, boosts your XP earnings, and increases the materials you acquire for 30 minutes.
Limited Time Spiritborn Trial
From Tuesday, November 19, through Monday, December 2, even players without the Vessel of Hatred expansion can dive in and try out the Spiritborn—a new sixth character class in Diablo 4. During the trial period, you can level up your Spiritborn character to 25. Should you decide to purchase the expansion later, your character’s progress will carry over. Mother’s Blessing XP Boost
Back by popular demand, the Mother’s Blessing XP and gold boost returns from Tuesday, November 19, to Tuesday, November 26. This boost significantly amplifies your experience and gold gains. It’s multiplicative, allowing it to stack with other XP enhancements like Elixirs, making it an excellent opportunity to level up your characters and boost their Paragon levels quickly during this limited period.
Prepare for a host of thrilling adventures and lucrative enhancements as you return to Sanctuary during these eventful times in Diablo 4!
