As we gear up for February, Xbox players should brace themselves for a slew of server shutdowns that might affect their gaming plans. To help you squeeze in those last achievements before the online support vanishes, we’ve compiled a list of titles set to be impacted.
Xbox server shutdowns scheduled for February 2025
- Divine Knockout — February 17, 2025
- Realm Royale Reforged — February 17, 2025
- EA Sports UFC 3 — February 17, 2025
- Hood: Outlaws and Legends — February 18, 2025
- Dark Alliance — February 24, 2025
- The Golf Club — February 28, 2025
- The Golf Club 2 — February 28, 2025
- KartRider: Drift — February 28, 2025
- Disco Dodgeball Remix — February 28, 2025
Let’s dive into the specifics for each game and what losing these servers means for your achievements.
Divine Knockout
In October, Hi-Rez Studios shared its plans to restructure and shift focus toward Smite 2, which means the server doors will close for Divine Knockout on February 17, 2025. This move will render all 19 achievements unattainable, so if you’re aiming for that precious 1,000G, budget around eight hours to wrap it up.
Realm Royale Reforged
Similarly impacted by Hi-Rez Studios’ changes, Realm Royale Reforged will also halt online services on February 17. This free-to-play battle royale game includes 20 achievements that will slip out of reach. You’ll need roughly 15 hours to claim them all, so check out our walkthrough to optimize your playthrough.
EA Sports UFC 3
After a commendable five-year run, EA plans to wind down the online services for EA Sports UFC 3. Set for February 17, this will affect 15 achievements, many of which demand significant playtime. Although it’s no longer available for purchase digitally, Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play subscribers can still get in on the action.
Hood: Outlaws and Legends
Expect the servers for Hood: Outlaws and Legends to shut off on February 18, 2025. Since this title is exclusively online, all 50 achievements will become inaccessible. Completing the game will set you back about 80 hours, and with its delisting from the Microsoft Store, only existing owners can continue playing.
Dark Alliance
Make sure to wrap up your play in Dark Alliance by February 24, 2025, as the servers are scheduled to close. This will make four online-only achievements unachievable. Additionally, Tuque Games and Wizards of the Coast have announced it will be delisted from the Xbox Store that day.
The Golf Club
Two legacy titles, The Golf Club and The Golf Club 2, will see their servers close on February 28, 2025, as per the December announcement from HB Studios and 2K Sports. The first game losing six online achievements has already been delisted, requiring you to hunt down a physical copy.
The Golf Club 2
For The Golf Club 2, expect four online achievements to vanish post-closure. Like its predecessor, it’s not in the Microsoft Store, so a hard copy will be necessary unless already owned digitally.
KartRider: Drift
Nexon has opted to close down KartRider: Drift on February 28, 2025, a decision made public this past August. Of its 28 achievements, 22 will no longer be attainable. The game has already been delisted, so those wishing to capture these achievements need to act swiftly.
Disco Dodgeball Remix
Rounding out February’s shutdowns, Disco Dodgeball Remix will lose its online connectivity. Fortunately, none of your achievements depend on multiplayer, but be aware that the title will also be delisted on February 28, 2025. Since there isn’t a physical version, the digital-only game will be retired permanently from the Xbox Store.
Get ready, plan wisely, and aim for those last achievements before these online worlds go offline forever.
