Later this month, a fresh edition of Squingle, a mind-bending mixed reality puzzle game, is set to captivate players once again. Conceived by Dr. Ben Outram, Squingle challenges you to navigate orbs through intricate, glass-like mazes without touching the sides. This updated version, released by VRAL Games (VRIDER), offers an enhanced experience with full immersion and mixed reality (MR) settings, catering to both Touch controllers and hand-tracking enthusiasts.
The Meta Horizon Store showcases this latest iteration of Squingle, boasting over 100 puzzles available right from the start, with promises of future additions. Whether you prefer gaming while seated or standing, Squingle accommodates both preferences. Players can choose between room-scale and mini-scale puzzle sizes, while the ‘Challenge Mode’ invites them to test their skills with time trials and compete on a global online leaderboard.
The original game, now referred to as Squingle – Legacy, has been removed from listings. Since its debut in 2021, it continually evolved with updates, including over 100 levels and mixed reality features. The Legacy version notably added MR capabilities through a ‘Passthrough Update,’ further enriched by hand tracking and mixed reality enhancements.
Prepare for Squingle’s arrival on the Meta Quest platform on November 21, offering a new dimension of puzzling adventure.
