Set in a sci-fi universe, the teaser introduces us to a character enjoying some vintage anime and spinning a pet shop record before launching into a thrilling space adventure. The world depicted feels refreshingly down-to-earth, far removed from the sleek technology of a “Star Wars” setting. Instead, the protagonist navigates with CRT-style monitors, retro tech, and chunky keyboards, giving their spacecraft a functional, though not exactly flashy, feel.

Naughty Dog, under the umbrella of Sony, has carved a niche in the gaming industry for its compelling adventure games packed with cinematic allure, such as “The Last of Us” and “Uncharted.” Fans will be thrilled to hear that Troy Baker, famous for his role as Joel in “The Last of Us,” is set to take on the lead role in this new adventure. At the helm is Neil Druckmann, renowned for his creative leadership in “The Last of Us” series and “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.” The trailer teases part of the storyline, introducing us to the bounty hunter Jordan Munn, who is on a mission to take down a criminal syndicate known as The Five Aces.
