Since September, Meta has been offering a free copy of Batman: Arkham Shadow (2023) to all customers who buy the Quest 3 or the Quest 3S. This deal is set to last until April 2025. But now, Meta is upping the ante by knocking $50 off the price of the Quest 3S’s largest storage model—for a limited time only.
Quest 3S, which hit the shelves late last year, is Meta’s most budget-friendly mixed reality headset to date. It’s available in two models: a 128GB version priced at $300 and a 256GB version for $400. Both models share the same Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor and boast the same game library as the pricier Quest 3, which goes for $550. Plus, they feature color passthrough mixed reality.
By sticking with the Fresnel lenses and the 1,832 × 1,920 per-eye LCD display from the Quest 2, Meta managed to make the Quest 3S an enticing option. It’s perfect for first-time XR users or those eager to dive into Quest 3 exclusives like Batman: Arkham Shadow while enjoying vibrant mixed reality experiences.
Here’s the sweet deal: Until February 8th, Meta is selling the 256GB Quest 3S for just $350. Besides including the popular Batman game, Meta is throwing in a three-month trial to Quest+, their game subscription service that grants you two handpicked games each month—which you can keep as long as you remain subscribed.
However, there are a few catches. The $50 discount is only available if you buy directly from Meta.com, and only while supplies last. It also doesn’t apply to past purchases. That said, some users have had luck snagging Horizon Store credit by reaching out to Meta Support if they made a purchase just before a major sale like this one.
Interestingly, several online retailers have matched Meta’s $50 discount. Places like Best Buy, Newegg, Gamestop, Target, and Walmart are offering the reduced price, and they’re all bundling Batman: Arkham Shadow along with a year-long Quest+ subscription. But be quick—some of these retailers might wrap up their sale before Meta does.
