Diablo 4 is wrapping up its most successful year by launching an exciting final event that’s designed to engage every player out there. Instead of sticking to the standard live event format, this special occasion is set up with multiple tiers that can only be unlocked through a combined community effort.

The task at hand is straightforward: players need to hunt down as many Treasure Goblins as they can across the vast Sanctuary world map.

This community-driven event, known as the Slay Ride to Hell, consists of five distinct tiers. Each tier unlocked by the collective goblin-hunting efforts allows all participants to enjoy reward caches from Goblin Square located in Kyovashad. For those holding a Vessel of Hatred, there’s an added bonus of extra caches.

Mark your calendars because it all starts tomorrow, December 17, at 10 am PT, 1 pm ET, 6 pm UK time, and continues running right into the new year, finally closing on January 2.

At first glance, the target numbers might seem steep, but when considering millions of eager players joining forces, those goals will likely be hit in no time. Once tiers 3 to 5 are achieved, the game’s store will feature some exclusive cosmetics for a limited time. And of course, the crowning jewel is reaching the final tier, which promises a Resplendent Spark—a rarity in the game.

To add more excitement to the chase, Blizzard is resurrecting some fan-favorite live events throughout the Treasure Goblin mayhem. From December 17 to January 2, players can benefit from Mother’s Blessing, which boosts both XP and Gold earnings. This bonus conveniently stacks with any activated elixirs and Urns that are part of the battle pass.

For new participants and those returning to the game, the Spiritborn trial re-emerges on December 19 and lasts until January 3. This gives non-Vessel of Hatred owners the chance to try a new class and level up to 25, offering a good taste of the expansion. Plus, all progress you make will carry over if you decide to purchase it later.
