Demon Slayer’s Mario Party-Inspired Game Gets a Free Update with New Board and Minigames

Sega has just rolled out an exciting "free update" for Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! on the Nintendo Switch. This new update breathes fresh life into the game by introducing a brand new board, a few delightful minigames, and even more surprises. Marking its arrival with Version 1.20, it features "Board Six," which draws inspiration from the Hashira Training Arc of the series.

As you maneuver through the spaces on this new board, you’ll bump into familiar faces like Tengen Uzui’s wives—Hinatsuru, Makio, and Suma—as well as Murata, a seasoned Demon Slayer swordsman. They’re all there to lend you a helping hand on your journey. If you land on certain spaces, the Hashira themselves might even step in to train you!

When night falls on Board Six, the action ramps up as the Mist Hashira, Snake Hashira, and Wind Hashira make their presence known. They’ll challenge your team, pushing you all to work together to triumph over their trials.

This update also brings along a couple of fresh minigames:

1. Cold Soba Noodle Speed-Eating Contest! – Test your speed by devouring cold soba noodles faster than the Water Hashira can. The key is to quickly tap the buttons in just the right sequence.

2. Fly the Distance! – Launch your paper airplane as far as you can by precisely stopping the gauge at the optimal moment. Watch out for gusts of wind, though—they’ll slow you down.
