Divinity: Original Sin 2 Set to Launch on PS5

Before diving into Baldur’s Gate 3, Larian Studios made waves with Divinity: Original Sin 2 on older consoles and PCs. It seems this acclaimed game is all set for a revival, making its way to the latest generation of gaming systems.

The keen eyes at Gematsu were the first to spot its PEGI rating, hinting at its return. We at PSX Extreme can vouch for its authenticity, though we can’t say for certain if it’s a recent addition or if it’s been there all along. Despite this, when you scour the PlayStation Store, only the PS4 version is available, with no sign of a PS5-native edition.

Considering the phenomenal success of Baldur’s Gate 3 in 2023, it wouldn’t shock us if Larian Studios is preparing a current-gen version of Divinity: Original Sin 2. It would be a fantastic opportunity for gamers to explore one of Larian’s standout creations from the past.
