Forza Horizon 5 is gearing up to make its debut on the PS5, and Playground Games has given the green light for this exciting transition. If you’re a fan who’s already conquered the achievements on the Xbox and yearning for a fresh challenge, soon you’ll be able to chase those PlayStation trophies as well. While the exact release date remains under wraps, PS5 players can look forward to hitting the tracks sometime in the spring.
Playground Games has officially announced that Forza Horizon 5, one of their standout titles, is making its way to the PlayStation 5. The PS5 edition is being crafted by Panic Button, in collaboration with Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games. Anticipate its arrival in spring 2025. “The Horizon Festival is thrilled to welcome a wave of new players,” Playground Games shared through a blog post. “With nearly 900 cars ready to hit the road, more than 40 themed game updates, and two expansive add-ons, we’re ecstatic to reveal that this spring, PS5 owners will get to explore the stunning landscapes of Mexico and dive into the Horizon Festival for the very first time.”
To make this a reality, Panic Button is working hand in hand with Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games on the PS5 adaptation. Gamers can expect this version to mirror its Xbox counterpart in content, including the exciting expansions like Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure, which will be up for purchasing along with previous car packs.
But that’s not all – Playground Games is also crafting a special treat for all players: a free content update named Horizon Realms. This update promises to allow gamers to navigate a handpicked collection of favorite Evolving Worlds from the community, along with some added surprises.
