Before we wrap things up for the holiday season, we want to give racing game enthusiasts a heads up: the NASCAR racing series on PS5 and PS4 is set to be permanently removed from all stores. You’ve got until December 31 to snag these games and their downloadable content, as they’ll be disappearing from digital shelves, including the PS Store.
Now, if you’re hunting for a bargain, the standard editions of NASCAR games on the PS Store are going for $20 or less right now. Some even come packed with free DLC, such as the NASCAR Heat 3 – Hendrick Motorsports Test Scheme Pack. NASCAR Arcade Rush is a steal at the moment, available for just $15 thanks to a 70% discount in the latest PS Store sale. Moreover, if you’re a PS Plus Extra subscriber, you can enjoy NASCAR Heat 5 for free until December 31.
In case you need a refresher, here’s the lineup of the ten NASCAR games that you’ll no longer be able to purchase after they’re removed:
– NASCAR 15: Victory Edition
– NASCAR Rivals
– NASCAR 21: Ignition
– NASCAR Heat Mobile
– NASCAR Heat Evolution
– NASCAR Heat Ultimate Edition
– NASCAR Heat 2
– NASCAR Heat 3
– NASCAR Heat 4
– NASCAR Heat 5
Don’t fret if you already own any of these titles; you’ll still be able to play them even after the delisting happens on December 31. Looking ahead, the NASCAR license has shifted to iRacing, who are in the process of developing NASCAR 25, set to launch in fall 2025.
