Xbox Insiders with Game Pass Ultimate: Stream Your Personal Games on Xbox Consoles

Hello Xbox Insiders! With the festive season upon us, we’ve got a special treat to share—let’s get into it!

Just last month, we shared some exciting news: Game Pass Ultimate members can now stream a selection of games they own straight through their TV or web browser on supported gadgets, like smartphones, PCs, and tablets, across all 28 regions where Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) is active. We also mentioned that by next year, players will be able to stream on Xbox consoles as well.

Well, starting today, Xbox Insiders in the Alpha Skip-Ahead and Alpha rings can take this new feature for a test drive on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles.

Stream Your Own Game on Your Xbox Console

If you’re an Xbox Insider and a Game Pass Ultimate member, here’s some good news: you can now stream select titles you own beyond the Game Pass library directly on your console in the 28 areas where Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) operates. Want to know which games are available? Check out the complete list.

With the “Stream your own game” feature on Xbox consoles, there’s no need to download your games. You can stream them right from your Xbox console. This new functionality means you’ll save time and space on your hard drive while still enjoying the convenience of Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta).

To kick off your streaming adventure from your Xbox console, head over to My games & apps > Full library > Owned Games.

If you’ve got a game that’s ready for cloud play, you’ll spot a little cloud icon next to it.

Need to find games fast? Use the filters: go to Filter > Ready to play > Cloud gaming.

Ready to jump in? Just select your game and hit Play with Cloud Gaming.

In the future, we’re planning to introduce support for direct launches from the Store app and streaming within the Xbox app on Windows PC.
