The Lego Nintendo Entertainment System is getting a significant price cut, now available at 20% off at the Lego Store during their pre-Black Friday Insiders Weekend. This rare discount brings the price of the beloved 2,646-piece Lego NES set down from $270 to a more wallet-friendly $216, matching the lowest price we’ve seen since it launched in 2020.
Among the Insiders Weekend offers, another standout is the colossal Star Wars AT-AT Walker. With an impressive 6,785 pieces, it’s now $170 off, but still a big investment at $680. The 2,314-piece R2-D2 model kit is a steal in comparison at $192, down from $240. If you’re more of a movie car enthusiast, there’s a great deal on the Batmobile Tumbler from The Dark Knight, now priced at $216, as well as the iconic ECTO-1 from Ghostbusters, also down to $192 from $240.

Lego Nintendo Entertainment System (2,646 Pieces)
The Lego rendition of Nintendo’s classic console isn’t just an assembly of blocks—it’s a detailed creation that includes all you need to build a retro CRT TV, stand, NES controller, and a Super Mario Bros. NES cartridge.
The finished product is a fascinating display piece packed with interactive features like a functional cartridge slot, rotating knobs on the TV, and a crank-operated screen that simulates a Super Mario level. There’s even a delightful secret in there to surprise the longtime fans.
One of the six Super Mario-themed Lego sets targeting adult fans, the Lego NES is gaining attention. Amazon and Walmart have enticing deals on some of the others. For instance, the 2,064-piece Super Mario 64 Question Block set is on sale for $180, quite a catch considering it was discontinued by Lego recently.
On a budget side, there’s the cute Piranha Plant set, now down to $48 at Amazon and Walmart, matching its all-time low. This 540-piece set typically goes for $60.
Lego Super Mario: More Display Models for Adults
Launched on October 1, the latest Super Mario display set, Lego Super Mario World: Mario & Yoshi, captures the retro magic of one of Mario’s greatest adventures. This 1,215-piece set features vivid pixel-like sprites of Mario and Yoshi. Turn the crank on the stand to animate Yoshi’s running legs, and with a twist of a dial, watch his tongue pop out—no head-punching required this time.
Nintendo buffs might also want to explore the first Zelda-themed Lego set. The Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 building kit, exclusive to Lego Stores, is priced at $300, making it the priciest Lego Nintendo set yet. But this 2-in-1 build offers a choice—craft the tree either as seen in Breath of the Wild or Ocarina of Time. The Breath of the Wild build uses more pieces, so if you plan to build and rebuild, the Ocarina of Time version is the easier bet.
