The moment has arrived! Xbox is rolling out an exciting new feature for its Game Pass Ultimate members: “stream your own game.” With 50 titles ready to be streamed from day one, this feature promises a lot, but there are some important details to consider.
To get started, simply use any device that has a web browser. By heading over to the Xbox Play website and logging into your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate account, you can find the “stream your own game” section. This works on PCs, mobile phones, tablets, handheld devices, and even consoles, thanks to the Microsoft Edge app.
If you’re someone who enjoys Xbox Cloud Gaming through Samsung TVs, Amazon Fire Stick, or Meta Quest, there’s good news. There is a dedicated Xbox Cloud Gaming app available that lets you dive right into this feature, so you won’t need to rely on a web browser for access.
Xbox has stated, “Starting today, I’m excited to announce that we’re allowing Game Pass Ultimate members to stream select games they own through TVs and browser on supported devices like smartphones, PCs, and tablets, in all 28 countries where Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) is available.”
For those using consoles and PCs, this feature will expand to their apps next year, meaning for now, web browsers are your go-to for this experience on those devices.
Curious about which games you’ll be able to stream with this feature? We’ve got the complete list covered for you below. Remember, you need to already own these games to stream them as part of Xbox Cloud Gaming—just being a Game Pass member won’t cut it!
