Assassin’s Creed Syndicate to Receive 4K/60FPS Update for PS5 and PS5 Pro

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, the final chapter of the series before Ubisoft transitioned to the more expansive RPG format, is set to receive some well-deserved attention. Starting tomorrow, players can enjoy the game with a 60 FPS mode on both the PS5 and PS5 Pro.

This update is certainly a treat for Syndicate enthusiasts, although the reveal wasn’t without its hiccups. A tweet from one of Ubisoft’s international accounts leaked the update details ahead of schedule, letting the cat out of the bag.

Syndicate first launched on PS4 and Xbox One back in 2015, featuring a dynamic sibling duo who shared the spotlight in alternating missions. While it may not be the most renowned installment of the series, these two protagonists left a lasting impression on fans who hold the Assassin’s Creed saga dear.

For those nostalgic about this chapter, it’s great news that they’ll now have the chance to explore Ubisoft’s rendition of Victorian London in the smooth frame rates and high resolutions that today’s consoles can effortlessly handle.
