NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50 “Blackwell” graphics cards are poised to make a big splash in the market as suppliers gear up for their debut.
## Suppliers Gear Up for NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50 “Blackwell” GPUs: Ready to Capture the Gaming Market
The next wave of gaming GPUs from NVIDIA, often referred to as Team Green, is generating significant anticipation. This excitement stems from the fact that NVIDIA has grown substantially since launching its previous Ada Lovelace series. Now, as we look forward to the unveiling of the GeForce RTX 50 GPUs, a notable increase in demand is expected. A Taiwanese supplier, Auras Technology, shared with DigiTimes that these new GPUs could “seize the markets starting in December,” as many companies plan to pivot their focus towards manufacturing the RTX 50 series.
Auras Technology, which specializes in cooling solutions for discrete GPUs, is set to play a significant role in producing the new Blackwell series. According to Yu-Shen Lin, CEO of Auras, there’s substantial market interest in the RTX 50 series. This, he predicts, will have a profound impact on the supply chain. As the year progresses, Auras expects a consistent demand for cooling components, especially in server and consumer hardware markets, reflecting a positive outlook.
On another front, ZOTAC’s parent company, PC Partner, which also oversees Inno3D and Manli, has relocated its base from Hong Kong to Singapore. This strategic move aims to mitigate the effects of global sanctions and positions the company for NVIDIA’s forthcoming GPU releases.
A report from HKEPC highlights that PC Partner’s shift is in response to U.S. GPU export restrictions. By relocating to Singapore, they hope to escape the tariffs and sanctions affecting NVIDIA’s future high-end offerings, as Hong Kong has been significantly impacted by U.S. policies.
Interestingly, this transition was carried out swiftly and somewhat discreetly. PC Partner has already been listed on Singapore’s SGX exchange, signaling its commitment to continuing operations in this new location. Notably, we recently learned about a “running” unit of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090—later confirmed by the company as a model in the RTX 4070 Ti series—in a ZOTAC factory situated in Indonesia, suggesting PC Partner’s global operational reach.
All in all, the developments surrounding the upcoming GeForce RTX 50 “Blackwell” GPUs are shaping up to be quite intriguing. The expectation is that these groundbreaking graphics cards will hit the market by CES 2025, unless NVIDIA decides to spring an early surprise.
