Pizza Hut has creatively combined the worlds of deliciously cheesy pizza and console gaming with their latest invention, the PIZZAWRMR. This clever gadget is designed to rest on top of your Sony PlayStation 5, keeping your favorite pizza slices warm while you dive into your gaming adventure. But before you get too excited, it’s worth noting that this isn’t a product you can buy in stores or a prize to win. Instead, Pizza Hut Canada is providing the 3D printing files for free to anyone who signs up. Once you’ve got the files, you can modify them and print your own PIZZAWRMR right at home.

The design of the PIZZAWRMR mimics the iconic red roof of Pizza Hut restaurants. The top opens up like a laptop for easy access to the pizza. According to Pizza Hut, it can hold several pizza slices, thanks to a clever design that channels heat from the console itself to keep your pizza warm. “It’s science and engineering for the greater good,” proclaims the marketing team at Pizza Hut.

Within the downloadable archive, you’ll find STL files and a PDF guide. These include 3D printer files for all parts of the warmer, such as the body, stand, and lid. The guide mentions that the design is specifically crafted for consoles with rear ventilation measuring 11.7 x 1.31 inches. To print this on your own, you’ll need a 3D printer with at least a 15 x 15 inch bed. This requirement may exclude many of the top 3D printers unless you chop the model into parts. You might consider using an Elegoo Neptune 4 Max, a Prusa XL, or possibly an Elegoo Orange Storm Giga for the job.

To prevent crumbs and grease from tarnishing your pricey console, users are advised to place a foil tray inside the PIZZAWRMR. Curiously, Pizza Hut switched to the metric system for these trays, which might be a nod to their Canadian origins. The final tip from the PDF? Fire up your gaming to preheat the PIZZAWRMR before placing any pizza in it. They note that slices from a medium-sized Pizza Hut pizza fit perfectly.
